A Night At The Roxbury

Remember what rock n roll used to be like? The genuine, gritty stuff? They were gods of their time, and they commanded their instruments as such, and live, they swayed the mass and ROCKED HARD!
Hell City Glamour is all about old school rock; none of this "nu rock bullshit" as they put it. And while I happen to be a fan of "nu rock bullshit", it is still worthwhile appreciating where it all began, and paying homage to gods of yore, like AC/DC, Aerosmith, etc, who made it all possible.
Now if rock is not your thing, don't stop reading quite yet. While Hell City Glamour promise to bring you the essence of rock n roll, it is an unplugged gig, so they won't be beating you around the head with it.
Check out their sound at myspace and see what you think.
The other bands playing are Modern Life and The Distants, the former which I could not find any information on, and the latter which happens to be an American band based in LA... This does not sound like the right band to me but here's their myspace just in case. Their sound is pretty interesting, worth a listen if you are into Smashing Pumpkins or bands like that.
