DNBBQ Easter Edition
April 10th 2006 14:09
Seeing as this is the last DNBBQ for the season, I'd say you'd just be daft to miss it. It's a night that promises great food, great music and a chilled out, laid back kind of atmosphere - perfect for a Sunday night after the big Easter weekend! DNBBQ promises to showcase the whole Drum n Bass spectrum, from hip hop to reggae, dancehall to dub. And this is not just unsubstantiated schmoozing. Having went to the last DNBBQ at Manning, I know that this will be fun.
On the night Melbourne based K-Oscillate, will be launching their long awaited self-titled debut album. For just a snippet off it, click here
The rest of the line-up includes the return of King Wrasse, as well as Johnny Hooves, Foreign Dub' sounds, Blaze, Murda 1, Lucian, Christian Burns, Insurgent, B.Hopps, Dj EC, Jase, Seltay, Reflux, Fracture, Adex, p_0, and Semper Fi with Halfcast. Here's just a little tidbit from them, called The Overmoment
So have a listen, then come down to Abercrombie Hotel, corner of Parramatta and Abercrombie Streets, on Sunday 16th, 4pm onward, and show some love for the local talent. Tickets are $15 presale, or if you aren't organised enough, $20 at the door. Come down, bring some mates, have a beer, and let the music do the work for you.
NB: Sorry about the lack of graphics, having some technical difficulties tonight...

What a great combination!
Not sure I would eat a chicken wing and dance at the same time, though...
