Blown out your ear drums standing too close to the speakers in a club? Feel like maybe having a chilled-out Sunday night, to wile your way into Monday morning? Then this is the gig for you.

DJ Tom Thump

International DJs Tom Thump from San Francisco, Marc Davis from Chicago, and Treva Whatever (are we loving the name people?) will be bringing you the latest sounds in disco funk, soul and boogie, house, and more. And let's not forget our locals, Boogaloo Crew, Phil Simmonds, John Glover, Aaron Achurch, Trent Rackus and Chris Creator.

So this Sunday, head on down to Cargo Bar, on The Promenade at King Street Wharf. Plus if you get there before 10, entry is free, so you have time to have a nice dinner, right on the wharf - perhaps the perfect opportunity to treat a special someone?

I went to Cargo, but got there after 10, and they closed it off... 'members only', which must mean 'rich guys and hot girls only'...
