Hoopla festival Darling Harbour

Another fun day in the sun coming up in Sydney with the Hoopla Festival in Darling Harbour.
If you like the circus, like the dangerous stunts, like the aerial performances, then this one is for you.

On the easter long weekend (21-24 March), the grounds of Darling Harbour will be divided into five performance spaces and the line up is big. From the big hit the Chipolatas, 2007 Edinburgh Fringe Festival's The Tom Tom Club, and Australia's very own outback circus duo The Pitts, will have audiences of all ages and background clapping and cheering.

Kids can also have fun with the circus workshop.

Not exactly - it's more about acrobatics, aerial performances, clowns and circus type things, but hula hoops are an essential ingredient in these things!

Darn it, Amy I can't visit to enjoy the festivities, my wife says I have to finish my honey do work first. I love all of the stuff; one of my girl friends was a flyer for Ringling Bros Barnum and Bailey circus and it tugs at my attention span. In other words, I go brainless when a circus is around. Raven
