TyronneSydney Festival: Movie in the Overflow

I did mention that it's Sydney Festival time, and there is going to be a lot of concerts, drinking and eating.
Well, if you prefer a big family night out, perhaps consider the Movies in the Overflow.
A big screen is being set up at The Overflow at the Sydney Olympic Park starting this Saturday 5th January. All throughout Sydney Festival a different film will be shown here for the whole family to enjoy.
I did attend last year with a couple of friends. We took out a picnic blanket and spread our cheese and wine for the afternoon. I don't quite remember what movie we saw, I do know that it was such a great atmosphere, under our beautiful southern skies, sitting there enjoying a good night out.
This year, they are showing some favourites including Spider Man 3 on its first night, Pirates of the Caribbean, Ratatouille, Becoming Jane, Harry Potter and Shrek the Third. Kids will love it, big kids will enjoy it and everyone will be happy.
Most of all - It's all FREE.
Unfortunately parking will be hard once you arrive at the Olympic Park so I suggest that you take the public transport. Check the transport info website at www.131500.info to plan your trips.
