This sunday: Royal sisters visit Sydney

Last year's spectacular - the visit of Queen Mary 2 and Queen Elizabeth 2 (Image source: The Telegraph, UK)
Get yourself to the harbour this weekend to catch a glimpse of two royal sisters docked side by side, towering over even the largest structure - the Harbour Bridge - and receiving a warm welcome from Sydneysiders.
Queen Victoria, the youngest fleet in the Royal family, will be arriving on the morning of Saturday 23 Feb. QE2, her older sister will join her in the harbour in the morning of Sunday 24 Feb and the two Royal ships will be together before the departure of Queen Victoria in the evening of 24 Feb.
Road closures will be in place to ensure traffic and pedestrian safety. Visit RTA - Visit of QV and QE2 for further information.
Last year during the same event Sydney traffic was put to the test and failed, so make sure if you are planning to visit, get public transport.
