Sarah McLeod - Remember her?
May 2nd 2006 14:39
I don't know what it is about the Sandringham, but there must be an air about it that attracts people who we knew once - you know who I mean, the one who sang that song with that tune, the one that goes na na na na na....
Sarah McLeod made her name as lead singer of the rock group Superjesus, but since then has been pretty quiet. Yet not so quiet that we could forget about her - she is not just a singer, she's a personality, and she certainly has alot of charisma to go around.
Oh sure, she's probably mellowed since her Superjesus days (or has she? By the looks of these 'before' and 'after pics, I'm not so sure...) but look at her hair! A chick with hair like that definitely has more than just musical talent to offer.
No doubt she will play some old Superjesus fans for those of you out there mourning the loss. And it would be interesting to find out what kind of a musical direction she is taking, and if she is likely to ever make it back on the music scene.
Plus, if you ask her if she's wearing her Superjesus undies, I bet you anything she'd show you! Now come on - isn't that worth $15 at least?
The gig is Wednesday night at Sandringham - for those of you who don't know that's on King St, Newtown, way down the St. Peters end, you can't miss it!
