It's the school holidays!!!!

Well, that time has come. The traffic will be lighter in the mornings, we will no longer be required to slow down to 40kmph and the teachers will finally get a break.
However it is now the parents suffer. There are now bored children expecting to be entertained, and many are out of ideas to keep them happy.
Instead of encouraging your kids to spend yet more time in front of the telly or play their video games, why not take the chance to bring them to the great outdoors?
Understandably many parents now work and have no leave to take the kids on holidays, that's why it is time to explore many of our city's great places where they have school holiday programs to help you keep the kids entertained as well as teach them a thing or two outside school. Check out on of the following:
Sydney Olympic Park school holidays sports will give your kids the chance to prove their physically ability as well as make some friends and have some fun. Choose a sport and attend a coaching clinic, attend swimming or dance lessons or simply hire a bike to roam around the park.
The Sydney Observatory School Holiday program is the perfect way to amuse your little ones and engage them in a scientific lesson about the planets and stars. They enjoy learning about the sonar system as well as a chance to look at the beautiful sky through the observatory's giant telescope.
The Power House Museum is always a favourite with children and the school holiday program will engage them in practical media workshops and learning activities that will keep them talking until school starts again!
The Museum of Contemporary Art is holding art workshops for kids who crave for creativity. There is also a kids art competition to recognise some special talents!
Other than the above, the wonderful national parks in and around Sydney are also great places to encourage our kids to be active. Or, enjoy a fun day out at the Aquarium, the Wildlife World, the Zoo, Manly Ocean World. They'll love their time and you can relax and stop stressing about what to do with your kids when they are bored!

I agree with the creativity of children - their ideas are often unlimited and unbiased, hence giving them the opportunity to create something uncomplicated and real as you said.
