Celebrating Mardi Gras
January 29th 2008 03:45
The celebration of Mardi Gras starts 9th February all the way through to 2nd March with the big parade and party in Sydney.
Many events will be held during this time, including the pool party on the 16 February transforming Victoria Park into a big hip party paradise. Ending with the Mardi Gras parade along Oxford St on 1st March.
As part of the Mardi Gras, the Mardi Gras Film Festival will be held from 14 February to 28 February, showing films exploring the lives of Gay and Lesbians and showing their human side of the story.
The films will be shown at the Academy Twin on Oxford St and tickets are available at the door, or online.
