Sydney is trying to establish itself to become part of the world fashion stage and here is where you can see all the action:

Rosemount Sydney Fashion Festival
13-17 August 2008

Chic in the City fashion tours
"a stylist-led indulgent shopping experience uncovering the crème of Sydney boutiques"

And of course, there are Pitt St mall, The Strand Arcade, QVB and The Galeries Victoria for all your favourite brands and designers. Then there is Oxford St in Paddington for street and funky wear as well as Double Bay for all the European designers.
