All things new and exciting about Sydney. Where to visit, where to go, how to get there and what to do. Visit Sydney and enjoy this wonderful city!

Fly across Sydney and view it from the top

I always enjoy landing in Sydney, being able to see the harbour from my window on the passenger plane and being able to really admire its beauty with the blue waters and the outline of the coast.

Unfortunately sometimes you don't get that great a view because the plane might not be flying at the direction that is ideal for the view, due to the requirements for landing at airports or sometimes route diversion according to the instructions from ground staff.

So having a private sea plane to take you around would be the ultimate way to see Sydney at its best.

Sydney Seaplanes can take you on a sky high scenic tour of the Sydney harbour, or take you out to lunch in the beautiful Hunter Valley. For a visitor to Sydney it is certainly one of those bonuses to see the side of Sydney that many others may not have the time or resources to see.

I wouldn't mind hopping on the seaplane for a romantic picnic at a secluded beach myself!

Sydney Seaplanes won the 2007 Best Innovative Tourism Experience from The Australian Travel and Tourism Awards and continue to provide visitors with this wonderful experience today.

A 15 mins scenic tour of Sydney cost $160 per person and flights are available on demand.

But Raven - I am sure the scenery is a lot better in Alaska with all the natural wonders and that!
